What the checkup covers
- Fixes and configuration changes (that’s the Security Tune-Up - your checkup fee credits toward it)
- Penetration testing or vulnerability scanning (partner-delivered, quoted separately)
- A compliance certification of any kind - this is a practical review, not an audit
The fee works like a deposit on progress: 100% of it credits toward any training or Security Tune-Up booked within 30 days, so the checkup costs nothing extra if you act on it.

Will you try to sell us things we don’t need?
No - and the structure protects you: the report recommends exactly one next step, the checkup fee credits toward it, and if your score says you’re in good shape, the report says that instead. We’d rather be the firm that told you the truth.
Do you need passwords or admin access?
No. The checkup is read-only and interview-based, done beside the person who runs your office. Where a screen needs to be looked at, your person drives. We change nothing and install nothing.
We have an IT company. Is this stepping on their toes?
No - they keep the systems running; we check the things that fall between the cracks: staff habits, insurance answers, backups actually restoring, guest Wi-Fi separation. Your IT company gets a copy of everything we find, so nothing lands on them by surprise.
What if we already know we have problems?
Then the checkup turns “we should really do something” into a scored list with owners and dates - which is the difference between worrying and fixing. The 30-day plan is sized so a small office can close its top three items within a month.
Our insurer sent us a questionnaire - does the checkup help with that?
Yes. One of the twenty checks maps your cyber-insurance questionnaire against what’s actually true in your office today, so your renewal answers are accurate - and anything you can’t honestly answer yet goes on the 30-day plan with an owner and a date. We don’t promise premium changes; we make sure your answers hold up.
